Why sugarcane decaf matters
The sugarcane process, also known as EA or ethyl acetate decaffeination, uses a naturally derived compound created from fermented sugarcane. In Colombia, this allows the coffee to be decaffeinated close to origin rather than shipped elsewhere for processing.
