Based out of Southern California, they are an incredible and small team of dedicated, quality-driven importers that source a few different orgins we offer. While most of our importing efforts are focused on importers who work with a single country, Bodhi Leaf is our one multi-origin importer. Their network allows us to access very unique, less-popular, or really high quality coffees that have become fan favorites in the archive!  While they have their networks in a few different countries, they approach their process with so much intention to detail which makes usextremely proud of this trusted partnership for this harvest and many years to come!

The Region: West Arsi

West Arsi, located about 400 km south of Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa, is an incredible combination of geographical and climatic conditions that promote exceptional-- and very distinct-- coffee profiels. The region's high altitude (1,800 to 1,970 m.a.s.l.), nutrient-rich soil, and well-distributed rainfall is a highly ideal environment for high, but balanced acidity levels in the cup. In years past, coffee from West Arsi has been marked and presented as Sidama, but as the area continues to grow in quality and recognition, West Arsi has begun to make an independent name for itself. With this particular coffee, you'll certianly see why!
